How to Get a CSCS Black Managers Card ?
The CSCS Black Managers Card is for experienced managers in the
construction industry. It proves that you have the necessary skills,
qualifications, and knowledge to work in a managerial role on
construction sites. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to obtain it.
Who Can Apply?
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
To apply for the Black CSCS Card, you must have:

A Construction Management-related qualification (e.g., NVQ/SVQ Level 4-6 & 7 in a relevant
subject).

Experience working in a management role in construction.
Step 2: Complete the Relevant Qualification
If you don’t already have an NVQ/SVQ Level 4-6 & 7, you need to complete this qualification in Construction
Site Management or a related field.
Step 3: Pass the CITB Managers and Professionals (MAP) Test
Before applying, you must pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Managers and Professionals

The test ensures you understand health and safety regulations required for managers.

It must be taken within the last two years before applying for the card.
Step 4: Apply for the Black CSCS Card
Once you have the necessary qualifications and have passed the CITB test:
